Earth Day Celebration at Mentor Marsh (MORNING SESSION)

Thursday, April 22, 2021

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM EST

*Please take note which session time you are signing up for, as there will be three (3) sessions offered on this date. They will all be the same offering.

Join Museum naturalists as we celebrate Earth Day with a hike through the Museum’s newly restored Mentor Marsh State Nature Preserve. We will hike the preserve’s trail system and admire the spring wildflowers that flourish in the forests adjacent to the Marsh. The trail that follows the rim of the Marsh will provide an excellent view of the restored wetland habitat, and should provide us great opportunities for birdwatching and other wildlife observation. We will also try to catch a glimpse of the Marsh’s nesting Bald Eagle pair!
