PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Join the Educator Resource Center, CMNH Natural Areas, and CMNH Research & Collections representatives to learn how you can get involved in the 2021 City Nature Challenge. 

This virtual professional development and information session will focus on how to: 

·         Get involved in iNaturalist community science projects 

·         Use the iNaturalist platform via the free app and online tool 

·         Understand how your iNaturalist observations and data inform current scientific research 

·         Explore community science data in an educational setting with learners of all ages 

Join the international effort to observe and document the plants and animals that call our communities home. This virtual experience will set you up for success as a 2021 City Nature Challenge Community Scientist! To learn more about the City Nature Challenge project, visit  https://citynaturechallenge.org/participate/
