OVERVIEW

Let your family’s curiosity come alive outside during these inquiry-based hands-on programs that cover a range of natural history topics. Your family will join in the fun with a Cleveland Museum of Natural History educator who will help them uncover the curiosities of the world around them.

DESCRIPTION

We’ll head over to Doan Brook and explore which areas have the most critters: the riffles or the pools; under rocks or in open water; in the water or around the water. Students will make their guesses and then test to see if they were correct. Make sure to wear shoes you’re okay with getting wet. We’ll complete a water quality monitoring test and discuss what this means for our local freshwater resources and how we can be better stewards of our environment.

Dress appropriately. This is an outdoor activity and rain, shine or mud we are still exploring!

Members: $75 for a family of 4, $8 each additional child;

Non-members $80 for a Family of 4, $10 for each additional child.

No deposits accepted. Registration is online-only.
