Climate Action Series: Water We Waiting For? Take Action with Drink Local Drink Tap

Saturday July 16

10:30 AM  –  12:30 PM

Join Drink Local. Drink Tap. and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History as we take action for water. During this program, we will gain expert insights into water issues and explore how we can have a better impact on water at home and in our communities. We will learn about water conservation and protection, and how these topics relate to climate change in our region.

We will then shift to a discussion of how rain barrels work and how they can help us take steps toward reducing our footprint. Registrants will help us decorate four rain barrels on behalf of the Museum, which will later be distributed to local organizations in the Cleveland/Northeast Ohio region. Come sign your name and help us cover our barrels in Dunkleosteus and Happy!

Please note:

  • Dress appropriately for the weather and art activities; this is a rain-or-shine event, and we might get a little messy.
  • Parking and restrooms are available on site.
  • Masks are encouraged but not required.

Location: Mentor Marsh Carol H. Sweet Nature Center, 5185 Corduroy Rd., Mentor, OH 44060
