Curator-Led Field Trips: Evening Falls on Floyd Preserve
Evening Falls on Floyd Preserve
Saturday, April 8, 2023
7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Roberta Muehlheim, Assistant Curator of Vertebrate Zoology, will lead us on an evening exploration of the Museum's Floyd Preserve in Ashtabula County. Spring wildflowers will greet us as we search for salamanders and other hidden residents of the preserve's ponds and seepage wetlands. We’ll pause at the high-quality coldwater stream that runs through the preserve, and if we’re lucky, we may hear an owl or two in the hemlocks overlooking the stream.
