Lakefront Birding Trip with Courtney Brennan

Saturday, March 12th, 2022

9:00 AM – 11:30 AM EST

Join Courtney Brennan, the Museum’s Senior Collections Manager of Zoology, for a birding adventure! Numerous bird species spend the winter in the Cleveland region, finding our variety of urban habitats suitable to sustain them through the harsh conditions. This trip is appropriate for both beginning and seasoned birders. We can never predict which species we will see, but every trip is unique and memorable. We will review how to identify common birds as well as any unusual species we encounter along the way.

Registrants will also receive a 22-species hit list, sent via email before the event, to use during this excursion.

Location: We will select the exact location (somewhere in Cuyahoga County) one week before the event based on weather and local bird patterns. We will email the location to all registrants; please make sure you provide your most up-to-date email address when registering for this event.

Registrants must provide their own binoculars.
