Excursion to Singer Lake

Join us for an early-autumn hike at one of the most pristine bog systems remaining in Ohio. A series of connected wetlands threads through Singer Lake’s mile-long basin, which is surrounded by forested glacial hills and sandy barrens. We’ll watch out for waterfowl, songbirds, dragonflies, and some of the several dozen rare plants that flourish at the preserve.

Meeting Location:

We will assemble at Singer Lake Bog Preserve in southern Summit County. Directions will be sent to all registrants.
